Description
Packet data network originally developed by Motorola for IBM’s field
service operation. In 1987 Motorola and IBM merged their network
properties to form ARDIS. In 1998, ARDIS was purchased by American Mobile
Satellite Corporation (AMSC). UPS has just launched their latest package
tracking system on ARDIS. This will add over 50,000 new subscribers to the
network.
