Description
Time Division Multiple Access - IS136 30kHz channels, each supporting 8
KBPS voice. 3:1 capacity increase over analog. Conversations are
broken into millisecond bursts. It runs on both 800mhz and 1,900mhz
bands. TDMA is considered a 2G technology but has a upgrade roadmap
to GPRS and EDGE technology.
