BlackBerry Leads the Pack in eAccess Wireless
Device Survey for Business

BlackBerry device selected as the wireless device of choice by 68% of survey respondents visiting the eAccess family of websites. Treo device takes second place at 12%.

Palatine, IL August 17, 2005 -- eAccess Solutions, Inc. (http://www.eAccess.com) today released their quarterly survey results from visitors polled on eAccess web sites: www.eAccess.com, www.eAccess-eStore.com, www.BlackBerrySource.com and www.Treo-Gear.com. Almost 1M visitors were asked to participate in the survey. Visitors were asked what wireless data handheld device they or their company have deployed or plan to deploy in the next six months. With over 68% of the vote, the RIM BlackBerry Handheld led the pack. In second place was the PalmOne Treo device with 12% of the vote. Third place were cell phones (11%) and fourth (6%) were Pocket PC / Windows Mobile devices. 3% were undecided.

The survey results show that businesses are very much aware of the large return on investment to be gained by deploying wireless handheld devices. With wireless email sparking the first round of successful wireless device deployments, businesses are coming back to the table and asking what other enterprise applications can be pushed out to their mobile workforce. Working with various software development partners, eAccess has been successfully answering those questions with real solutions in key business verticals for the past four years.
